"The best thing in life is
free-anonymous
I believe it is better to
tell the truth than a lie. I believe it is better to be a free man than to be a
slave. And I believe it is better to know than to be ignorant. – H.L. Mencken.
Obviously, money is one of the most important
thing and most important part of our life. The thought of it dominate our
everyday discussions and dictate our existence. All our lives revolve around
making money, acquiring money or spending it. But sad to say many people have
focused so much on acquiring money to the extent of affecting their lives and
their personal relationship with others especially their family members. These
had led them to live an unbalanced life thereby making them to neglect other
areas of life, such as;
*Relationship. *Health *Personal growth
*Recreation *Legacy. *and so on.
You don’t have to go this road. Why, you may ask?
Because money is not real. Hey! Surprised, I
know you would.
Let me restate that fact MONEY IS NOT REAL.
Money is just what the experts call it „a form of exchange‟ or better still „a
medium of exchange‟ meaning that money
represents value. What is that value? This value rises and falls with time. Without
you and I things will no have value they will become valueless. We are the one
that give things the value they have.
How do I mean?
By way of example consider the fashion
industry. Today, some clothing or style are said to be in vogue and later that
same clothing are said to be old fashioned and after some years people start
putting value on that same old style. Then what do you see? People
spontaneously going crazy for that same old stuff. Just like a cycle.
These occur virtually in every area of our
lives, it happens in market, money, even in relationship. In a market
situation, it is called market sentiment, meaning that if the market, i.e. if
people love a particular company for some reason, then the value of the company
shares will increase. And where people dislike or as a result of fear starts
selling out their shares, then the value of such company depreciates.
Here is another example to buttress my
assertion that money is not real. Some years ago, Central Bank of Nigeria and
the Federal government changed our naira note from its paper form to the
polymer notes. Then what happened? We shifted our value from the old paper note
to the new naira note. Now, if tomorrow they change it to plastic note then
what happens? We shift the value again.
Recently during one of my seminars I asked “As
desperate as people are about money which includes you, if you come across a
pile of the old naira note will you pick it up and spend it?” Surprisingly the
whole room roared and said “No”! Now you can see that money is not real. Ok if
money is not real, then what is it?
Money is just an idea and that is why I want
you to stop seeing money as what people see it today; the cash, the big pay
cheque, the bank account etc. But instead I want you to see money as an idea, a
value that lies between you and within people around you. Once you can
understand this, you will come to realize that gaining financial freedom and
attracting wealth is very easy.
The knowledge you are going to gain is very
rear. Meaning that nobody teaches you this within the school system even the so
called financial analyst do not understand it, that is why you need to
understand and apply the knowledge there-in.
The money you see around is an exact
representation of someone’s internal value, so what
you need to understand for you to acquire financial freedom and the wealth you
so much desire is to develop an idea with an intricate value which other people
will appreciate and accept, which in turn will automatically increase your
external money.
